We need big vessel here in North, those small OPV other countries operate, will only get problems when the winter-storm hits... In Norway we expect our OPV to be out there, when other ships go for safe harbor, when the weather is to bad.

Here in Norway our OPV operate only from 16 knots to more than 20 knots... But then our OPV is quit large ships compared to that one. For example Nordkapp Class do more than 22 knots (105 meter ship) or Barentshav class.. classified!!!! But according to wiki over 20 knots (93.2 meter ship)

Norway's Oslo class had depth charges, well in to the 90's, because no one bothered with removing them. And they was nice to use, if you want to send a massive shockwave up an fjord, quit good weapon for submarine hunting inside a fjord, but out on the ocean...
