if a bit overarmed with all those torpedo tubes. I don't find that wrong. we operated with 8 tubes and up to 14/16 torpedoes on kobben class here in Norway and she was only 47 meter long, even Ula class have 8 tubes and normally 14 torpedoes, 18 in wartime and she is only 59 meter. Another thing Germany have learned the hard way was parts..., During the 80-90's Germany decided that instead of having stores full of parts, they was going to produce parts when they need.... Now all 6 German submarine are in for service/repair and waiting for parts... That need to be produced firs...
