OK, no words about the main gun then, but still I am thinking about that Goalkeeper on top of the hangar. I don't know if you've went with a double hangar, but if that's not the case I think there is actually some room for a Goalkeeper mounting without losing any hangar space. The picture below show...

Oh god please yes! I've always wondered why the Type 23's don't carry any type of CIWS, but maybe to save costs (and weight), just one Goalkeeper on top of the hangar is sufficient? Also, why have you gone for the US 5''? I suppose this would be 5"/54 (12.7 cm) Mark 45 Mod 2, but it has an inferior ...

Allright sir, you convinced me! By the way, the Royal Netherlands Navy has started modifying their ships for TBMD (Ballistic Missile Defense), which so far also include some visual aspects: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76124343/Military%20photos/2037489.jpg You can see they fitted two extra S...

Awesome work Acelanceloet, but could you perhaps make it a bit more... detailed? As this is a personal design you can make her as detailed you want. Something post-war USN cruiser like? Tubes, wires, lighting, life saving equipment.

Other than that, awesome :!:

Thank god they went for the 76mm... I never understood why (for example) the Canadians fitted 57mm's to their Halifaxes. It barely does no damage to large surface vessels and it lacks serious range. The only real plus in my opinion is the higher rate of fire. I remember seeing that show ''Sinking a ...

Certainly looks a lot more versatile now. I've always wondered why the Original LCF's were designed to carry only one helicopter. Two helicopters does not only add enchanted ASW, but also ASuW capabilities. My only question is about the ESSM launching position. With the real LCF's this area is a muc...

And what about stretching and lowering that particular area (''B-weapon slot'')? You can at least pack 48 cells worth of VLS in there.

But if this has been already discussed, than I guess it has no use to discuss this any further.

Of course, but still when you look at the potential armament layout it will pack a hell of a punch.
