Welcome. I don't have an exact date for you on when the Plexiglas wind screens became widespread, but my general guess (based on the ships I've researched) would be mid-to-late 1944 onward. It's a pretty small detail in most photos, which is why you don't often see them in plans and model kits espec...

Either way, the work is magnificent -- we've all screwed up the scale every once in a while (this made me think of my ridiculous project to redraw the Portland class cruisers that were off by 20px) ;) It happens to all of us ;) Give it a few days and see where you end up -- for what it's worth, the ...

Model scale would depend on the DPI when printed... resolution on the screen is irrelevant for model scale of an SB drawing.

That's a tough shape to draw -- I think your latest version shows it well. The curvature of the plating around them doesn't allow you to use dark grey lines to accentuate it, but with shading alone it's hard to understand. Nice work.

Wonderful except for the lack of black outlines on the windows ;)

Excellent work. The Victor has always been a favorite -- it's so strange looking but definitely fits the profile of a potentially world-ending strategic bomber designed for the era when nuclear war was all but expected ;)

Definitely interested in some of the V-boat (cruiser sub) and pre-Gato fleet boat stuff you've got. Shoot me a PM.

The real issue is not necessarily level of detail, but amount of shades used. When someone has used 10 different shades to show curvature, that's when I give up. I'm also not a huge kitbasher and have basically no patience for modifying others' work, so I'm kind of biased, but I do remember running ...

Yes... there is no rule that says you can't redraw a certain ship dozens of times ;)
