CraigH those are wonderful examples of what SB is all about.
The first Ironclads are the pre-cursors of all the other modern warships drawn here.
The attention to detail in such small scale ships is awesome.

I used your 37/40mm because it looks better than the 40mm in the parts list. The overhead view especially looks like the twin 40mm from the Dutch, which they gave to the UK in 1940.

No photoshop used.

Its from the Scottish Golf Open at Aberdeen. They went several times to that view, the commentators saying how it looked like it was floating in the sky.

Yes that is a problem with most UK cruisers and even BB's, they all tended to plunge forward. I've tried to show a slight amount of flared bow to counter this, but I do not think my shadowing on the bow is good enough to show the flare.
