The SAMPSON array is, sorry to say it, wrong. From the side the radar faces and their covers are straight, not curved. A nice addition, one that has certainly been discussed a lot over at Secretprojects forum. During the last discussion there was some discussion if the chin intake would need enlarging to serve the Spey, although the later marks of A-7 seemed to manage ok. I took my cue directly from that discussion...
