Hello!, I come bearing Gifts, this time the 1927 Built Cruise Ships (original Passenger liners operating between New York and Nova Scotia) Yarmouth (later Yarmouth Castle...confusing I know, Queen of Nassau, and Elizabeth A.) and her sister the Evangeline (later Yarmouth Castle)

Its 5 AM and I stayed up all night finishing these (all aside their respective Troop ship colors they had in WW2 which will be a Later Addition) so I won't go into too much detail and history, all you really need to know is that Yarmouth Castle (ex Evangeline) sank in 1965 with around 80 people going down with the ship after a fire started in a Storage closet and quickly spread up the ships almost entirely wood superstructure

if you have any questions I will answer them gladly!

My uncle was a crewman onboard the Yarmouth Castle when she burned up in the early sixties. Great drawings.

Thank you!, if you don't mind me asking, what was the specific job among the crew he did? (Was he part of the Officers, "General Staff", or Engineers?)

I know a mister Terry Sinclair-Wise who was the 3rd Purser aboard her during the fire, his stories are...quite harrowing to say the least, and its a miracle he made it off in the end

Great looking series! Certainly it was challenging to follow all the changes.

Thank you both!, and indeed it was challenging, I got half way through and my friend who is a Historian discovered all the weird name changes that happened to the Yarmouth...so that was fun haha, did not help that in most cases only a single photo existed of them in the shorter lived color schemes and name changes

recently I also learned that Yarmouth (not Yarmouth Castle/Evangeline as Wikipedia States) was featured in the Film Dr. No of 1962, interestingly she did not have the "W-R" color scheme, but instead had the "F" emblem, so that will be done alongside the upcoming WW2 versions!

Excellent work, these look magnificent and you have certainly put a lot of research and effort into these drawings.

He was just a 16 year old cabin boy. It was just a summer job but man! What a job it turned out to be!

Talk about the epitome of the phrase "It's not a job, it's an adventure"!
