That's the one I was looking for I knew I'd seen it.When you look in the archive it comes up as a Van Speijk/Leander.I thought at first they were the same but my book says the Campania was longer with a shallower draught.

You're quite right. The three ships of the Nairana class were of a similar, but not identical design. They were build in three different shipyards and Campania was 540 ft long, Nairana 528 ft and Vindex 524 ft.

Yea that was the problem I only drew the Nairane :(

Very, very nice Bombhead. Unicorn is one of those oddities that no other Navy built but one that really quite makes sense when you look at the kind of attrition the Fleet Air Arm expected in aircraft, even in peacetime!

Thanks Hood.The drawing I used was unfortunatly not very accurate so I had to make loads of changes.I did her in the end at the time of the Salerno landings when she was used as an operational carrier.
