So my wife gets in from work today and asks me "What have you been up to today then?"
I reply "I sent some invoices, did some work on my tax returns and completed a Shipbucket scale drawing of a French treaty-era destroyer."
She retorts "You know you can be a real f#cking geek sometimes."

Anyway, here she is...

Le Bourrasque was the first ship of her class, launched in 1926. Armed with four 130mm guns, she displaced 1300 tons and could reach 33 knots. She was mined and sunk during the evacuation of Dunquerque in 1940.

Ahhh...me too - in fact my wife even "designed" a sign in my folder which says 'stop doing boats'. Anyhoo...great drawing of one of the most elegant treaty destroyers. As far as the Burza, since I've got a model of it, there are discernible differences to justify this French version.

I like! Of course, coming from a newb here like me, that may not mean a whole lot ;)

And as for my wife and I, we have an agreement... She knits and does other "crafty" type stuff, I do things for my ficticious online nation, and together we do sci-fi geeky costuming at conventions. It works well. :)
