I can only add my compliments to DP for his work on the Typhoon. Soviet navy ships really stirred my imagination as a kid in the late 80s and the Typhoon was the most fascinating of them all. Excellent work!

Very attractive, although I feel conflicted about how the anechoic tiles are portrayed at high-curvature regions near the bow and stern. Rather than being drawn conformally, it looks like a grid was just dropped onto the side profile. I'd be very surprised if this is how the tiles conform to the shape in reality, so is it detail or is it greebling?

:o this looks incredible. A top-notch application of the new sub design you have developed lately.
Now that I have picked my jaw up from the floor :) I must say that I second the remark on the tile pattern. The step between tiles should be proportionate to the apparent angle of the hull. Not sure how feasible that is with such small tiles until I have tested it though.
