Well I had once consdiered drawing the Tiger but I felt the photos and plans available were so poor it would be nigh on impossible. I had to eyeball the 6in turrets trying to use the available online Tiger sources but it confirmed my opinon that doing the whole ship would be a nightmare. Bombhead has done a great job and proved that Mk I eyeball is still as good as tracing.

I always find it best to trace it out on a drawing first just to get the where things go.And then look at the best pictures you can get.

Just a little remark: the Corvus decoy launchers should be abreast the bridge and not in front of the hangar.

Beautiful Work Bomhead, Blake was my first ship i got drafted to Dec 15th 1975, followed by Eskimo, Bulwark, Kent, Plymouth then it was on to the modern fleet, York, Gloucester, Southampton, Exeter and finally Liverpool.

A few points on HMS Tiger, Tigers main mast that carried the 965 radar was all grey, unlike Blake who had the black top, also Tiger got a go faster stripe at some point around 76, that was between 8" - 12" wide, see plan drawing.

Yes i have seen your Magnificent carriers, you have done Rusty B proud, still trying to find the Tribals and Type 42's,

Type 12's will be a real test i expect, so many variations, i see quite a few names from the Modelwarship site here, Timmy C and Werner being two. i have no excuse now for not building an Ark, Eagle and Rusty B.

Keep up the good work
