This is very nice work but I don't (and have never really) viewed this sort of attempt as true "Shipbucket". There are too many areas where it strays from the style for me to really endorse it as Shipbucket work. I'd call it 2px:1ft scale and leave it at that.

Not disparaging the quality of the drawing, which is really very nice, but it's too far off the style guidelines to really be acceptable.
In which case I'll dim it down for the uploads.

The Yamato based strictly off the 1/10 model at the Yamato museum in Kure, Japan. The only difference is that I installed the accommodation ladder, while the model has it sitting on deck. There is not a white chrysanthemum symbol painted on the funnel. Also note White bordering on the 25mm triple shields (open mounts on deck) and the lack of any single 25mm mounts.

Next is Ten Go.

Well since you seem to know so much about Yamato....

What the heck are the large openings in the stern for?

Those are the boat hangers. All the ships boats were in hangers along the sides with overhear rails to haul them out and lower them to the water. This was to protect them from the 18.1" blast.

Plus she had an aircraft hanger beneath the aft aircraft handling deck that could fit 5 folded aircraft at a time. Her aft deck (only aircraft handling area just behind main turret 3) was concrete topped instead of all steal. Please ask any questions, I've lost plenty of sleep on research.

Might that research include personnel?
