USS Astoria (CL-90) and USS Houston (CL-81) rework

#1 Post by Colosseum »

Reworking the later model Clevelands after finding some good source info on them. Also decided to draw the port side camouflage pattern just for thoroughness.

Attractive as always. Certainly my favorite light cruiser that ever actually saw service.

Outstanding job, my friend! Normally WW2 edition ships are not my forte, but you managed to create a bunch of truly attractive buckets there! Only one question: will I have to also rework the CLG:s to keep them on par with yours?

Negative sir. The only changes were minor things on the superstructure. Good luck with the CLGs!

I don't want to cluster an otherwise excellent thread, but I have to say that with these drawings, Colo, has very definitely demonstrated why it can be such an advantage to draw both starboard and port elevations!

Very, very nice indeed :D I agree with Bezo; with camo it's an advantage to have both side view ;)
