first WIP. the hull is finished, apart from maybe some shading, and the primary and secondary weapons are in place. for now I can say this were some productive 3 days of work ;)
please comment if you like it or if I have made mistakes.

A good start Ace.
I think the propellers look a little small, and thin for a ship of this size.
A style issue: Is there a double black line at the upper edge of the hull?

I thought the same about the props, my reference showed it but I have to do some research on it.
for the double black line: where exactly do you mean? I can't find it

coming along great. I really can't wait to see one of my favorite IJN ships.
It's just a shame that none of them are left, I would really love to see the real thing up close.

Agreed. I've always thought that these, the "Lion's" and "Tiger" were the world's most beautiful warships.
