Very nice drawing. With 76 A to I class destroyers, 9 leaders and several spin-offs being built plus the various destroyer escort conversions, there's a whole range of possibilties with this lot. May even have a crack at a few myself - if that's okay?

Yeah, indeed, I have no plans to goble everything to myself, just drawing what I've been inspired now. So feel free to join in the party :) I have HMS Exmouth 80% done, and Ill get it here today or tommorow, then next week Im back to work, so propably no new additions, but after that, who knows.

One of the spin-offs has already been nicely done by WhyMe - the Portugese Vouga class

http://www.shipbucket.com/images.php?dir=Real Designs/Portugal/DD Vouga.png

Also Navarchos has done a very nice AU rendition, which I have only been able to find in Bezobrazovs AU,

http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... s&start=90

Both show the versatility of the A-I design.

And here is Exmouth
[ img ]

Like I said, for utill next sunday (23rd) I wont be able to draw much, so no new additions before that Im afraid... and who knows where my mind goes those days, since I've got couple of redrawing ideas to fullfill as well.

If someone wants to start bashing something on this category, give me a wink or something so I know there wont be duplicate work. Also, i can share some of the references, I have, if someone is intressed

Thanks guys. Nice work on Exmouth too. She'll make a good starting point for an HMS Faulknor drawing - perhaps late war with quad pom-pom amidships. I just need to find a little more info and a lot more time.

This is just good! I've recently discovered which effort it takes making vessels of this size looking good. What I'm trying to say is, that my admiration for your drawings has grown very much (and the admiration wasn't small before ;) )
