starting from Shottel azipod pictures I made a new 4 blades screw.

About naming of this unit: it could/should be PKA (ПАТРУЛЬНЫЙ КОРАБЛЬ АРКТИЧЕСКОЙ ЗОНЫ - Artic Patrol Ship)... any suggestion???

Is it available the SB drawing of the Fast patrol boat (Pr. 03160) “Raptor”. This arctic ship has been designed to carry 2 of them.

The drawing looks really good, Lazer_one.
Maybe the rear lower hull curve could use a little shading?
The pod looks much better like this anyway.

Is this ship meant for the Navy or the Border Guards? If the latter, can't it just be a PSKR? I haven't seen Arctic-specific designations on other classes yet.

If no one else is working on it, I will try to whip up a Raptor boat today.

Looking at the declarations made about this unit I guess that these ships are meant for the Navy. Therefore I adopted the current Navy colors.
BTW, waiting for the launch, we could search for the proper naming.

I'll look at the hull shading (but I am quite convinced about what I did because it is quite "squared")

Yesterday nigth I made the Raptor and the deatail of its area:

If you are confident the hull bottom is squared, I'm not going to contest it without having seen source drawings :)
But the way I see it, the front curve of the hull (over the bow thrusters) has a shaded line 1 or 2 pixels thick, while the rear curve (below the hangar for the Raptor) has none). Looking more accurately I think that the junction between that curve and the hull bottom is missing something.

Hope this helps!
