Hello everyone!

I've been meaning to draw this for a while, here is the SS Orca as seen in the 1975 American horror/thriller film "Jaws". In case you've been living under a rock for your entire life, Jaws is about a killer shark (A Great White) that terrorizes a quiet New England beach town, and eats several swimmers and fishermen. The shark is finally killed when an oxygen tank explodes in its mouth, ripping it apart. Anyway, here is my rendition of the fishing boat used in the film...

Oh nice thanks for the specs, I was unable to find any earlier, so I used models as a reference.

Such wooden lobster boats were very common in New England in that era. I think that Warlock (Orca) was powered by a single Detroit 6-71 diesel - which was also very common back then. Design itself I think is from 1950's or late 1940's.

Seems likely, thanks a lot for this info. I don't know much about fishing boats or things like them so any info is welcome.

39 feet according to the specs, how is your ship near 30 meters?

Also, something went wrong with the height of your template

Well maybe it'd be better in FD scale? I'm new to drawing so I'm still figuring out the scales and templates thing, forgive me for my inexperience

Ship is being redrawn in accordance to proper scaling, original dimensions were inaccurate.

Awesome to see this ship make her appearance on the board, even if she does need a redraw!
