Nice work, but I have to say I am not a fan of the way you shaded the bulges: they are shaded differently from the rest of the ship. They are shaded more or less with fore-aft shading, but your bow and stern (which have similar angles) are not, while the stern is shaded with an overhang (which has the rudder, which has the same angle with the hull as the skeg, being differently coloured again) Try to shade simplified or consistenly, as right now it distracts from otherwise quite nice drawings.

The 1942 version of the ship should probably have the Kingfisher float plane.

Yes, I would encourage the use of three-pixel portholes. They look much better.
I would probably say use a newer greyer shade like on my G3 drawing too but that's a personal choice.
