This is incredibly good work--with your permission, Hood, I'd like to take the County-class here and modify her to represent the reconstructed condition of Almirante Cochrane/ex-Antrim in the Chilean service.

AKE-1 is the single 'bedstead' antena, while AKE-2 is the double 'bedstead' antena.

I've dug through my library and have discovered nothing. Now I'm curious too.

This being the Royal Navy we're talking about, of course, it might mean not a damned thing at all.

AKE is the aerial shape and configuration, the exact nature of each letter is a mystery. I do know that each radar aerial and other electronics in use by the RN had a three letter code denoting the shape and other characteristics. All outfits began with the letter A (see the RN radar sheet the counter-measures are good example). Known examples of aerials are ANU for Type 277 and AKU for Type 293Q.

Updated Counties with new kit from the updated RN Parts Sheets.

Edit: Stabilisers added, thanks to Bezo's input and CoA thanks to Kim. Made a good job even better!
