Here's an updated version of most of these never-weres. The Nikolai has some tweaks and a recolor: Similarly the Izmail has gotten some touch-ups: The Svetlana got some touch-ups: And the Matrosovs' destroyer design: Ther 1917 Black Sea got a small tweak and recolor: I also tweaked the shading on the Skvortsov battleship: The Bubnov and Putilov designs have been reduxed and updated almost from the base lines up: |

Back when I did the Soviet cruisers and the Imperial Navy-days Svetlana class I semi-did the Nakhimov as designed but got a little carried away and forgot about the original design, so I've done that now. And I'll throw in the Maraviev Amurskyy, a class of two cruisers intended for training the Russian navy personel in turbine propulsion. A total of two cruisers (Maraviev Amurskyy and Admiral Nevelskoy) were ordered from the German yard of Schichau-Werke as Russian yards were busy with domestic orders, Both cruisers were launched shortly before WW1 broke out and were seized by the German navy. They entered German service as Pillau (later ceded to Italy as Bari) and Elbing. |

Nice work. But not "Maraviev Amurskyy" - it's "Muraviev-Amurskiy". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolay_Muravyov-Amursky |
