Hi there,

a bit of an oddity:

In 1911, Hugo Junkers, who is better known as an aircraft designer, drew up plans for a 24.500t battleship powered by diesel engines.
It seems like his main intent was to sell these diesel engines to the German Navy.

'Oddity' is right...where are the smokestacks and superstructure? Kinda looks like the designers were going along, then when they got to the superstructure they said, "I'm bored...let's mark this one as 'done' and design something else." :lol:

it looks like it have 3 smock stacks and one of them are build inside the mast!

But I do like the design, with it's central coningtower. But the ship must be incredible cramped
