I am using Design Proposal no.2 as a basis for a fictional conversion of the incomplete Mackensen class battlecruiser into an aircraft carrier.

Thanks everyone for the comment. Those concepts are not exactly something that you could find in a book or other publication so far.

So, prepare for a large wall of text, I have updated the previous post with a lot of information, in case anyone is interested.

Wow! Lovely work! Amazing topic. Makes me wonder. There is no such impression drawings/plans known as she was supposed to be build as passengervessel?

I'm guessing that the D.VII has a slow enough landing speed as not to need arrestor wires.
