Yes, I don't have her on the template yet, and she's still a WIP (and will probably stay that way for the next few weeks), but I present to you the WIP of DG/AEGIS:

Depreciated

Further tweaking tonight. I would greatly appreciate any errors that are spotted or an suggestions for improvements, especially as I have so little to go on for superstructure detail.

Depreciated

colombimike, aren't you paying attention? NEVER BUILD, that means that it was build following these plans. for the bow, hangar, gun and funnels/spy radars, these are all based on the real plans. (http://www.mdc.idv.tw/mdc/navy/usanavy/aegis-dg.jpg)

I've spotted some things, but you'll have to wait until tonight: I'm leaving in a few minutes.

"Acelanceloet",
I know this very well...
But this picture is not very deeply accurate...

For superstructures details, if "TimothyC" has no more very accurate drawing, have to be intelligent...
A 1974 study = (at the best case) a ship laid-down around 1976/1978 = a ship commissioned by 1979+/1984...
So if "TimothyC" wants to improve detail on the superstructure, he must watch the US ships (superstructures details) of this era...
- US DD Spruance
- US CG Ticonderaga (five early ships...)
- US FFG O.H.Perry

My previous post only serves to give some.......ideas/paths
(except few comments about the design)

Ace, Mike is correct, in that the bow and a lot of the details are in need of editing. I also noticed a few errors myself after I posted it last night.

Ace is however correct in that there will be no Mk-45 on the bow.

As for hanger funnel and SPY-1 placement, I got a suggestion for edits to the funnels, but their position is fundamentally correct, while I've already had to fudge the hanger portion of the superstructure to fit a LAMPS helo.

ok, I thought the bow was ok, but well... I don't know a lot about ships of this time era, especially not American ones. I also understand it needs to have more detail, but that was not what he was saying. he said 'there should be an gun, and the funnel/radar config should be wrong. and these are things which are from the original design, so you can't change that.

the second post gives what the first one should have been IMO.
