I think you still have too many .50-cals. They really don't seem to appear in any large number until the late 1930s.

I think there are also too many searchlights. In general the cruisers seem to have four max and you have eight. Also you are missing the 24" searchlights which normally take a position above the pilot house.

The sky lookout you are using is the mid-to-late war model that you don't normally see on any combatants pre-war as the air threat was not expected.

The platforms on the mainmast are too large horizontally - they should be at least half their current width fore-and-aft. Also you should center the 12' rangefinder on the top of the mast vs. offset towards the rear as this needlessly stresses the tripod supports.

I think a larger floatplane crane would be necessary. That looks like a boat crane to me.

A cruiser from the 20s should have no 50 cals at all.

Sorry to say this, but your stern section still looks very much off, and that little platform halfway up the foremast will likely not support the director. Why could you not just move it to the compass roof of your pilothouse? - but, it's your design, so...

Somebody told me to add 50 cals instead of 20mms. Jeez you guys are constantly contradicting yourselves!

Colo, what else could those 'cross, squiggle' marks on the bridge and after bridge be if not some kind of weaponry?

On the concept drawing on page 1, on the bridge and below the aft 8" turret, are markings that TA has taken as being weapons. If they should not be weapons, what else could they be.

The original drawing has disappeared for me, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to make the call as to whether or not they should be weapons. I just said that, based on looking at other designs from the period, perhaps having 16x .50-cals is too much.

Given the fact that no other US warship in the 20s sported any 50 cals it would only be logical to assume this one will also have none. To see it, click on the picture.

Those are definitely MG placements now that I can see the design. What is the date given on these?
