Very nice to see this design evolving. Its getting better looking as they progress so that's a positive sign.

I actually liked the aesthethics of the previous rendition more, but this design at this size does speak well for reasonable fit of all the capacity into single hull. Of their propable offshore deployments, I dont think its been the main motivator, but certainly they would provide more capacity for that than the previous vessels.
...and they are bigger than what the swedes have

A solid step forward in comparing to older Finish ships. Choose of Gabriel was a surprise, resignation from 76mm main gun and rear CIWS rather disappointing.

And they can be bigger than even new conceptual Swedish corvettes. I wonder if they will pick up the game and move to even bigger displacement.

Great update and work, chief! Very robust "finnish" design and honestly, I'm quite surprised of its size. I thought it would be closer to K-130/saar 6 corvettes, but as you said, it shows how much you really need for all this stuff; especially for mines. I read there are 100t capacity in the minedeck so it means 100-140 mines (K-130 has 34) and according to Navy, it has been designed as "battle resistant" as possible. I'll hope the costs are going to hold in 325m€/vessel ;) , though I doubt it...

I think the guns are the subject of upgrades in 2030's.

One tiny remark Golly, if I may... There are pictures showing bilge keels and stabilators (retractable?)

The linedrawing I used did not show any additional keels, despite the mentioned retractable stabilators have been mentioned. But this project is drawings wise constantly upgradable, so as I get more info, I can add more details

Ok; I wouldn't dare to ask, where the hell did you find a linedrawing of this. So, I don't: and you should not answer :)
This is the picture I refer: (Sorry about the size; its official...) Picture by Puolustusvoimat

anways, I naturally keep my sources to myself, someone might go and draw stuff based on them!
But I see what i can gather from that, should give me fairly accurate idea where they would be and what size
