Okay, After further consideration, and two reference drawings supplied to me in my previous post, I give a second look at the IJN Super A Class Cruiser:

Love it, the cable reel on the stern in the top view isn't on the standard view though |

The truss structures supporting the aircraft cranes are sort of interesting. There's an inconsistency in the secondaries--in the top view the middle mounts have barrels overhanging the outer mounts, while they do not interfere in the side view. |

Let m reexamine the drawings.There's an inconsistency in the secondaries--in the top view the middle mounts have barrels overhanging the outer mounts, while they do not interfere in the side view. Yup, you are correct They've been fixed.

Looking good. Been wanting to see this redrawn for quite a while. While arguably a bit flat in comparission to some other works in the IJN section in particular, the austereness is undeniably easier on the eyes, and makes it far easier to comprehend what goes where. |

Looks good. Lot of boats on top view not on side view. |
