Hi all

@TallBox: The one you posted is still floating around in the WWW, but it was actually the TKMS proposal that was dropped at an early stage. What I drew is Damen's first published concept for their winning design.

BTW I've no idea how GNY's proposal looked (if they had one themselves), or if they adopted the TKMS design.

And no, I still think the entire MKS-180 programme will be axed without replacement due to COVID-19 costs.

In other news, the Bundestag just approved of the MKS 180 project budget, which means that it's now on to the finalizing of the contracts and then the design stage. These puppies are gonna get build!
Congratulations to Damen and Thales.

Hi all!

Looking at newly released renderings from the Damen Group, my original drawing was off in virtually all proportions. Moved things around a bit, deleted bow sonar and torpedoes (apparently dropped from requirements; they seem to like the F125 so much they want to repeat it...)
