Quintrex QM12 Pilot Vessel
These Pilot Vessels have been built and added to the AUSDEF-N AU for in harbour interception of incoming port bound vessels. They are manned by AUSDEF-N Reserve Personnel on a rotational business.

Fairlight Class SAR Vessels
Three vessels of the Fairlight class have been commissioned to support flying operations at AUSDEF-N's Air Stations. AS Fairlight is based at NAS Townsville, AS Sunraysia is based at NAS Nowra (berthed at AS Creswell) and AS Gove is based at NAS Rottnest Island.

It is the navy ship... it need to have Dakka! How can you support anything without dakka!?

He means guns. Though I don't believe a simple SAR vessel needs large mounted weapons on it.

If I may take the liberty of pointing out Rhade, SAR stands for SEARCH AND RESCUE.
