An alternate version of the German navy on ships that could be used in an alternate reality by the Modern Kiregsmarine.

AU Kriegsmarine (2021)

The Kriegsmarine ("Navy" in German) is the second most modern and powerful navy in the world, founded in 1935 and in force until today 2020, it is one of the three branches of the Wehrmacht and is composed of a combination of submarines, patrols, amphibious ships, service and refueling vessels, frigates, battleships, battlecruisers, cruisers, destroyers and aircraft carriers.

The ship is a large-scale evolution of the original design of a guided missile destroyer of the same class, she is very flexible and can take on several different types of missions, from disaster relief to ASW, but the main jobs are the anti-aircraft warfare and surface fighting. The Altmark class of missile destroyers is the third generation of the German Navy to be designed and built around the Aegis Combat System and the new SPY-12E multifunction radar. The first ship of the class entered service on August 15, 2003, the new Altmark, with 41 planned units, became the only class of active destroyers designed around a reduction in size and cost of its sister class "Munich -Class ", to maintain the balance and obtain more units with a lower cost.

The Batch II of the Altmark class of guided missile destroyers is the direct upgrade to the German Navy's third generation of ships designed and built around the Aegis combat system and the new SPY-13A multi-role radar. The first ship of this update, the KMS Hallein (DDG-518) is packed with new design and technological improvements that position her as a key destroyer in the defense of carrier battle groups, her new equipment also makes her a little more Stealthier than its older counterparts in the same class and earlier, the new LIS-1 laser systems are highly supportive against supersonic projectiles and low-flying aircraft, but still have limitations against hypersonic missiles.
