Is that...the Enterprise crossed with the Yamato and the Kirov? I think I'm going to have nightmares for weeks.

Because I know how much you guys like bow mounted weapons, now with portholes for the operators!

I would hesitate to call that a bow mount - it's aft of the forward most waterline point. It almost looks like it's in the same relative position as the 8" mount on the late 1974 version of the CSGN.

yeah, in a quick look it seems to be aft of the fore peak bulkhead, so allowed by rules and regulations.

Well, I've seen a lot of things but I've never seen someone copy a gun in over the ship's superstructure...

I sincerely hope those weird grey patches are computerized termites eating away at the ship...

The worst part is that it's pretty reasonable in comparison to what they usually produce.

I doubt the guy who fitted the gun was the original designer, the rest of the weapons were fitted correctly but the gun sticks out.

Good ship though...

Actually, both guns and the aft mast sticks out quite a bit.

Agreed, IMHO this applies to the one in the beginning of this page as well

Reckon there must be some lack of crediting in there, the guy who credited his name and "thanks to shipbucket" makes me suspicious...
Wiki states seem to be trying to take down the copied images, they deleted all their images that they couldn't verify the source of (almost all of them), most pages had a broken link in place of the image, as a result there's less interesting ships.
