Looks good, you could perhaps go with a slightly larger OCU squadron compared with the operational squadrons - the RAAF's F/A-18 OCU is about 20% larger than the front-line fighter squadrons I think.
If it helps at all I'm thinking of using 'Super Jaguars' for my AU - a Jaguar with nighthunter/Blackbuck's modifications with the bigger wing and fly-by-wire.

Does this sound feasible then: 4 squadrons, of 8 aircraft each, equipped with (AU) Jaguar FGR.2 and 1 OCU squadron of 8 aircraft with (AU) Jaguar T.3, maybe similar to the Jaguar FGR aircraft Nighthunter and Blackbuck drew for DC or would I need to use the proposed big wing variant in order to fulfil being a 'multi-role' aircraft?
I would strongly suggest the "big wing" namely because on the actual Jaguar hardpoints were routinely taken up by dispensers and ECM pods, then you have the drop tanks leaving pretty much just the centreline hardpoint for ordnance... With the "big wing" you get an extra two under wing hardpoints as well as two wing-tip hardpoints for AAMs. In terms of capability for manoeuvring etc it was alleged the new wing and "dash-63" Adour would yield a 65% increase in combat thrust (I presume dry full power) as well as a 70% increase in the sustained turning rate of the aircraft finally it was alleged that there would be a 40% increase in take-off performance (I'm not sure whether this translates to a shorter run overall or higher gross weight).

With the squadrons I'd have 10-12 aircraft in the OCUs as Rowdy suggests maybe even make them dual role?

Ah yes I would be very interested. Are you going to be drawing the Super Jaguar? Would you mind if I used it please?

Thanks for your wise words as always, Blackbuck. How are you so well informed about the Big Wing Jaguar? I can't seem to find much information about it or why it never materialised. In your opinion, would it be a suitable multi-role aircraft?

I take on board what you have both said about the OCU size, or maybe I would have two smaller OCU's with one specialising in air-to-air warfare and the other in air-to-ground/surface. For the Balearic Islands, do you think 32x single seat and 12x double seat Jaguars would be about the right number? Thanks for your input Rowdy and Blackbuck, always appreciated ;)

I'm pretty sure I incorporated the larger wing or at least extra hard-points on our drawing (go check for certain).

SecretProjects forums, aircraft literature and lots of time spent looking into things for my own AUs! For smaller nations with less of a need to go up against top tier fighters like the F-15 and Su-27 I think it's a fine multi-role aircraft especially if mated to something like Blue Fox/Vixen/Captor or APG-65 or 68.

Basically it is a quick modification of nighthunter/Blackbuck's FGR.5 with changes I'd already started on, feel free to cut and paste it to get what you want.

Updated RBAF inventory (for 2020), with thanks to KIKE92 for the inspiration to make such an inventory.
