Based on eswube's Orbat this is a sneak peek of how the Venezuelan air force will look, this Orbat is still subject to change but i don't expect them to be very significant, following eswube's advice i cut the numbers by half in order to make it more reasonable aswell as either removing or replacing some aircraft types.

Very nicely done.
It's been a while since we discussed these things, and it's great to hear it's being brought back to life. :)

Thanks eswube, in the end i decided to only use equipment that is in service right now or is going to be in service very soon, one of the vehicles that i decided to replace was the Leopard 2, mainly because of its weight (over 60 tonnes), im still trying to decide which tank will replace it and for the moment the front runners are the Type 10 and the K2. I also downsized the navy completely discarding the destroyers and instead going for the Carlo Bergamini Class (FREMM) Frigates among other things.

If by Type 10 tank You mean Japanese one, then even in AU having it exported is not excessively plausible. That said, if the weight is a main criterion, then the list of possible modern contenders is indeed short. (What about making EE-T1 Osorio progress beyond prototype?)
Btw. these days such terms like "destroyer" or "frigate" are purely a matter of convention.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to see more of it.

Yes i meant the japanese tank, the reason for that is the Japanese governments decision to lift the arms export ban, the other option is the K2, it is heavier but is still designed to operate in tough enviroments not very different to what it might encounter in Venezuela. I didn't consider the Osorio because it has been dead for a very long time and by now it would be obsolete and updating it would almost mean designing a new tank.

As for the Frigates what i meant was that i would only go for things on that size and nothing bigger like the Horizon class. The only thing that im keeping from the original fleet is the carriers although the Táchira class has been redesigned to make it more plausible.
