Corpus Christi uses Link 16 because of a standardization law passed in 1998. This will allow interoperability with the US and other Allied countries. The CCADF Gripens have a customized avionics suite that includes Link 16 capability.

Swedish Gripens are getting / have got Link-16 themselves, not just new build E/Fs. It's not a big deal either to retrofit the new datalink. I will say however that the Saab one is probably a better bet than Link-16 and it is Link-16 compatible to begin with as far as I am aware.

CCADF Gripens actually have both the Saab TIDLS and Link 16. TIDLS is for communication among Gripens and Erieyes while the Link 16 is for communication to other CCDF units and allied forces using Link 16 such as the US.

The St. Joseph Class corvette was conceptualized in the early 2000's by the CCMDF. The CCMDF wanted to expand its scope of operations from the coastal missions it preformed during the Cold War. The St. Joseph Class corvettes were designed to have AAW as its primary mission, with good ASW and ASuW capability. The St. Joseph Class was one of the first class of ships to receive the CEAFAR AESA radar, after the Australian Anzac Class. The St. Joseph Class was authorized in 2008, with construction on the first ship, the CCDS St. Joseph, beginning in 2009. CCDS St. Joseph was commisioned in 2012, and was sent for its first deployment to Somalia in late 2013. The second ship, CCDS St. Mary, was laid down in 2010 and commisioned in 2013. The two other ships, CCDS St. Paul and CCDS St. Andrew, are under construction as of January 2014.

Just a quick one but you've got way too many trainers compared to fighters, such a small nation would actually consider sending pilots to allies (Like Singapore with sending pilots state-side)

The trainers have a dual role. The T-6 Texan II could also be used for COIN missions and border surveillance. The Hawk trainer doubles as a light attack aircraft.

You can also use the hawk as a lead in fighter using the radars of more capable aircraft to guide them as a sort of mini awacs in the late 80's early 90's the RAF modified 88 Hawk T.1 to be able to carry up to 6 AIM9 sidewinders to do exactly this using the Tornado F.3 as the control aircraft....

I am also looking at this for my upcoming AU I'm working on. Although allocated to a training squadron they will be a shadow active squadron in times of war utilised for lead in fighters, Close air support and ground attack utilising AIM 9l and later ASRAAM, dumb bombs up to 500lb and laser guided bombs up to 500lb designated by ground forces or other aircraft. Also gun pods for straffing and rocket pods.

She looks like she has a lot of features of the Turkish MILGEM series

The St. Gabriel class of littoral combat ships was the second design in the CCMDF's post-Cold War force restructuring (the first was the St. Joseph class corvette). The St. Gabriel class LCS uses a semi-planing hull, similar to the US Navy USS Freedom. The St. Gabriel class LCS is said to be superior the USN Freedom class, with a formidable armament composed of Harpoon missiles, Spike NLOS missiles, MU90 torpedoes and two 30 mm guns, all mounted as mission modules. The ships' 76 mm gun and RAM launcher are fixed weapons. The first ship of the class, CCDS St. Gabriel was laid down in November 2010 and commissioned on December 25, 2013. The second ship, CCDS St. Michael, was laid down in March 2011 and will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2014.

I just did this small update before I will do other updates and newer ships for this AU. I feel this hull design and sensor setup would be better.
