Yes, I remember the GAF Turana, but have not came across the name Woomba.

Hmmm, not showing for my either now.
Has been getting dodgy the last few days but normally a refresh would help. Well that looks like the last free image host down the drain, not sure what to do next.

Some how the last image does not show for me, but when I copy the URL of the image, delete the ~original from the link I can see the image.
I wouldn't say that Photobucket is down the drain, but it does seem that free image hosting is becoming as rare as a white raven.

I've always disliked the real T43, not just the odd centre flightdeck but the whole odd layercake looks and missiles and radars sprinkled all over it, if anyone drew something similar we'd laugh it off as a terrible kitbash! I felt a high value ship should have some RCS and since Types 23/24/25 and 43 overlapped in time to some degree it felt right to explore the aesthetic. This ship owes something to your Super T23 designs too.
The directors probably are offset, I think there is enough room. I had toyed with fitting 4x AESA but I felt the different fire-control methods for Sea Dart and Active Sea Dart would prevent that so I stuck with the mix of directors. I had doubts about having 32x Sea Wolves so high in the ship, I think it would work ok on the beam but that's the beauty of 2-D drawings, I can remove the portside launchers without having to change the drawing! I thought of a midships block on each beam but it would interfere with the uptakes and downtakes.
I'd wonder about perhaps swapping the directors around and raising the 912s to super-fire the 909s as it were. You'd need to raise the nav radar (and possible make the mast taller as a result) but it would allow you to keep everything on the centreline.
Personally I think that 16 VL-SW would seem more plausible, at least above decks. Ideally I'd have looked at the using the Vickers auto-loading launcher amidships but rocket efflux would most likely be problematic to the intakes.

I also would favor trading the directors.

Blackbuck and Erik,
Those sound like sensible suggestions, I'd have to be careful the blast from the Sea Wolf aft doesn't affect the exposed 912 if its in that position but I think it would work out ok, especially if the portside VLS battery is removed.
I did consider a few midships batteries, I might have a look at creating a 4x launcher with the Vickers auto-reloading system. My intent was to have ample ready-use rounds to defeat a salvo of Soviet SSMs and two ready-use per beam might not be enough to deal with a supersonic missile threat but a four-round launcher might be ok. Avoiding interference with the intakes might be an issue but I'll see how it works out.

Novice,
It odd but they all show again today, maybe its just tech problems at their end?

Any estimations for range at economical speed for Type 82 (AU)?

Also, the original "ears" in Type 42 funnel were eliminated, resulting in different layout to reduce IR signature. The Type 82 (AU) though, seem to retain original configuration after 1981.

Hood

Caught your reference to these pages in "Secret Projects".

Very enjoyable thread and glad to see it back.

Will you be doing a take "pre Invincible" on the Escort Cruiser?

I've updated the original drawings and re-uploaded with a non-PB host so they can once again be enjoyed in full-size!

All the ships can be found in the first post.

Further works are in progress.
