Thx for the comments all.

I'll be sure to do a better DP gun arrangement with the future classes, as this one was built before WW2 and had no way of really knowing how important the firing arcs of the guns would be.

I actually have half a plan view for one of them... I should probably finish it then I guess.

I've been reading up on the London Naval Treaty, as well as others, and realized how big a mistake I've made. At the time of drawing my destroyers, I had no idea what the tonnage restrictions for them were. In light of this I'll not only be looking into my destroyers and how I can fix this problem, but I'll be doing the same with my other classes. In addition I've already begun drawing new radar sets and electronics, as I'm hoping to depart from simply using USN parts. Ships from now on will most likely use new AU parts.

Carida City class guided missile cruiser

As the second class of purpose-built missile cruisers, Carida-City was designed to replace the aging World War 2 era cruiser conversions as well as to test new missile systems. As launched she had the capability of attacking any target: homing torpedoes launched from onboard torpedo tubes or by helicopter, RIM-50 Typhons (as built) for downing air targets, autoloading 8" rifles for shore bombardment and dispatching of small surface targets, and RGM-62 anti-surface ballistic missiles.

Both members of the class inherited their names from previous cruisers, with the name ship being the 3rd to be named Carida City. Due to the costs associated with upgrading the class to use the AEGIS system, it was decided she would be scrapped in the late 90s in favour of building a new class of CGNs from the ground up.

Maya class anti-aircraft cruiser

Initially a controversial idea within the navy, as a dedicated anti-aircraft cruiser was unheard of and unpopular when first proposed, but Fleet Admiral Bradford's ambitions of a carrier fleet persisted him into selling his idea to the rest of the Admiralty. Requirements for the ship included a heavy DP battery, with designs ranging from 3" to 6" guns, with the already existing 5" DP mount being chosen. The class also needed to be capable of keeping up with the projected speed of the current fleet carriers that were due to begin construction around the same time (1337). They also needed to have very long range, resulting in the vessels themselves being very large for their armament, though at the added benefit of being a great seaboat. As they were purpose built carrier escorts, they carried no scout planes unlike other cruisers, which meant they would perform less than ideally when operating independently and as such they were rarely scene performing outside of their given role.

The first vessel of the class was named after Port Maya (simply Maya), with her sistership Westview being laid down alongside her. The thought was to wait and see how Maya and Westview performed after they launched, but the political destabilization in 1338 resulted in the rest of the order being carried out and all vessels were completed by 1340. The first four ships joined the Scyllic Fleet, whilst the last were assigned to the Freyatic, however as the World War began, they found themselves being transferred between fleets rather regularly. The Maya's performed excellently as carrier escorts, credited with shooting down 292 aircraft from 1342-1949, the highest kill count of any non-aircraft carrier.

Updated Juno class heavy cruiser

I wasn't satisfied with my old version so i redid the entire ship. It also sports a new radar set. I'm also currently working on telling future events from the perspective of a captain, which I think will be a lot more interesting.
