Kuban Amphibious Assault Fleet The Kuban Navy's Amphibious Assault Fleet consists out of several ships and hovercrafts. They have command over 4 Polish build Lublin class LST, which were ordered in the early 1990's after the fall of the Soviet Union. They replaced several older landing vessels. The 2 Zubr class LCAC's were captured by the Kuban Navy when the Soviet Union fell apart, but didn't enter service until the early 2000's due repairs. They have been upgraded to modern standards to last to atleast 2025. With the Lublins proving themselfes to age badly the Kuban Navy decided to buy 3 larger and brand new LST's. The Damen LST-100 design was choosen. With specific modifications for the Kuban Navy on the vessel it was redesignated LST-100K, the 3 vessels were build by Damen wharf in Galati, Romania. They are to be delivered over 2019 and 2020. |

MiG-29 on loan The Kuban Air Force currently operates the MiG-21 Bison as frontline fighter, these were once MiG-21-93's. Back in 2005 the Kuban Air Force made a agreement with Hindustan Aeronautics to let them upgrade 14 MiG-21's to the Bison configuration. The upgrading of the whole fleet would last from 2005 untill 2008. To fill the gap of fighters the Kuban Air Force loaned 12 Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29MU's (Modernized Ukraine) for that period. The MiG-29's performed very well and the Kuban Air Force high command actually considered to buy 8 Ukrainian MiG-29MU's, but due the shrinking of the defense budget this plan was thrown down the trash. 12x MiG-29MU Reg: 501 to 512 |

New addition to the KubanAir fleet, the Airbus A321neo with the new CFM Leap engines. KubanAir ordered 12 of these aircraft to replace the aging Yak-42's and Tu-154's in the near future. The new A321's bear the registrations KU-KBM to KU-KBY. KubanAir might order more new Airbus aircraft due the stable grow rate of the airline with flights from Kuban to the Balkan becoming more popular and also the flights between Kuban and Western Europe. |

Embraer E-175 KubanAir required a jet aircraft for short to medium haul. They looked for used and new aircraft, eventually they selected the Embraer E-175 over Fokker 70's of the KLM and Fokker 100's from Helvetic Airways. They ordered 8 aircraft and those were delivered between 2014 and 2018. They have the registration KU-KCK to KU-KCR. |

Leonardo AW149 With the renewing of the Amphibious Assault Fleet and the new replenishment vessel of the Kuban Navy they required a new medium lift helicopter for CSAR, utility and VERTREP. A competition was drafted and the participants were: Sikorsky S-92 Superhawk, Leonardo AW149, Airbus H225M Caracal and NH Industries NH90 MTT. The NH90 was dropped from the competition due its high costs and the others remained. The Kuban Air Force started talks with the supplying manufactors to determine which could do good to the local Kuban aerospace industry. Leonardo signed a contract with Kuban Aerospace for a Leonardo helicopters maintenance/upgrade facility in Sochi. Kuban Aerospace could also perform the final assembly of the ordered helicopters there. Thus the Kuban Air Force selected the Leonardo AW149 as the winner, other competitors couldn't pull the same move as Leonardo did. The Kuban Air Force placed a order for 8 airframes, they have registration 421 to 428. |

Soncedar class The Kuban Navy needed a logistic support vessel to transport equipment and to support operations of our allies and our own troops. The Kuban Navy teamed up with Novoukrainsk Naval Shipyards and Damen Shipyards to costumize the LSV19000 of Damen. Originally designed for the Royal Norwegian Navy but never build for them due the Norwegians selecting the South Koreans to build the HNoMS Maud. Damen would build the modules in their Damen Galati Shipyard in Romania, they would then be transported to Novoukrainsk to be welded together by the Novoukrainsk Naval Shipyard. Construction started in 2017 and the vessel was delivered to the Kuban Navy in 2019. Since the main task of the vessel is replenishment and transport it was decided to name the vessel KNS Soncedar. The city has been a important city for trading and transport throughout history. I like these ships and believe that your container crane would be perfect match for my IB as well. Following this AU since its creation, you have done very good job in paintwork, espesially in aircrafts. |
