They can do plenty against small things, skiffs and small boats (like those that struck the USS Cole), they're also useful for blowing up ordnance you encounter.

I agree with Heuhen,the Sea Protectors should be better placed,,2 facing foward (at the front) and two facing backwards (rear) to have the maximum possible fire angle.But this frigate is very good,I like it!
