Was going to use it for AU, but decided not to. I am going to have an Helicopter carrier in the AU, but this one would just end up in the wrong time periode, in between two other class...

Short description (of what I was going after... hopefully):
------
Length: 144 meter
Designet powerplant: Diesel engines with Jet-Turbine as generator.
Speed: 25-27'ish knot
------
Armament:
4 X single 40 mm (in AU-housing)
1 X Quad Sea-Sparrow launcher
------
Aircraft facility:
- two lift
- 4 helicopter landing place
- 8-14 helicopter (depending on equipment and type of helicopter)
------
Sensors/radar:
- large 3D radar
- small 2D/3D radar
- Various Satcome
- Various VHF/UHF
- Light electronic warfare
- space for more
- a lot of guidance channel available for weapons (ability to guide more than what it have)

I like the looks of this, like a shrunken Garibaldi.
My only concern would be the starboard boat sponson forward, might get a bit of hammering from rough seas.

Yeah it isn't ideal, but it is so high up and far aft from the bow, that I was hoping it might work.

That looks interesting, in addition to well drawn. A well-equipped ship for its size, and it fits with the era you had in mind.
May I ask what type of light guns/CIWS are used? And in which environment/country this would have been used?

thank you.

Equipment: she take a lot of it from decommissioned ships. save some money on that.

as I described she use 4 single 40 mm guns and Sea Sparrow. Small arms consist of 12.7 mm and what ever the soldiers that are on board at that time, have with them.

Other CIWS would come from ships that are escorting it.

It was original designed for AU. But as I used Shipbucket as name instead of a country name... it have no specific place to operate in.

I like the look of it Heuhen. It is the sort of carrier second tier Naval Nations could afford to have.

Couple of nit picks.
1. Same as Hood that forward boat, but another reason, it would interfere with the shell handling for the 3" above it.
2. You show a couple of single 20mm guns on the starboard elevation but they do not show on the overhead.

Thanks!

Original ideas was something small, so you could have more of them in a semi-large navy, give a little more flexibility for having a plattform every where.

3"? I don't see any 3" i see only a 40 mm and those 40 mm doesn't have deg penetration. (note: the description does also mention 40mm and no 3" (75-76mm)

for wave, yes the wave is a problem, but it's slightly high up and far aft, but at the same time it isn't sticking so much out, what part of it is angled, but not all of it. The only time you going to see wave hitting that, is when you are operating in an hurricane... wave over the bow brake very fast of, faster than you would belive.

I decide not to, just to keep it a bit open

Looking closely with the top v side view does the port stern 40mm walkway match ?
