Imperial German Navy Weapon Systems Sheet has been updated to Version 5.5

I've made a few more updates, and added new parts from other author's work. If I've mislabeled any parts, or attributed a part to the wrong artist or you know who drew a part I've not yet attributed anyone to, please let me know and I'll make the necessary update.

Version 5.5
• Minor update to SMS Hindenburg blast bags.
• Modified all 30.5cm SK L/45 turrets by increasing the slope of the glacis and moving the rangefinders further back.
• Added 170mm SK L/40 gun mounted in casemate to Medium Calibre Gun Systems.
• Added 150mm SK L/45 gun to Medium Calibre Gun Systems
• Added 88mm SK L/35 C/02 in single mount MPL C/01.
• Added improved 28cm SK L/40 turret to Large Calibre Gun Systems.
• Improved 150mm FlaK L/45.

I'm working on a General Parts Sheet and hope to include that sometime soon.

Cheers.

Tempest.

I've tried to improve the 110cm searchlight using a photo in the book German Battlecruisers Of World War One and was hoping for some feedback from you guys.

Hi Tempest,

That does look better, but no horizontal rail?

I've slightly modified the 88mm FlaK L/45, all I've done is removed the vision ports from the side view and flipped them in the front view. I think this is more accurate.I've used this picture for the side view. Any thoughts welcome guys.

The photo is from German Naval Guns 1939-1945 by Miroslaw Skwiot.

It seems like I have overdone the view ports quite a bit on the side view...

I do still believe that a tiiiiny bit of the view port could be seen when looking directly at the side of the mount.
Probably too tiny to be porperly represented in SB-scale.
The photo looks to me like it was shot from a slightly oblique angle from behind. I could be wrong, though.

Your changes are an improvement.

I couldn't for the love of me remember who drew this gun, apologizes for treading on any toes but thank you for thinking so. I've added you as the author as well.

I thought a portion of the view port could be seen to but as you said to little to convey.

Hi,

no worries!
Its always good to have someone recheck the parts.
It seems like you have better sources than I had when I drew the gun.

Looking at the picture you posted, it seems like some parts of the gun (gunners seat etc.) protrude from the gun shield.
I have made some modifications to the drawing to show this, but its hard to tell how much sticks out.
So I drew two versions - which one is better?

Finding plans or enough useable photos for this gun is quite difficult I think.

Both your versions look really good, the one on the right sticks out about right I think but it makes it look like the breach is too short. What do you think?

Thanks for spending time on it.

I've made the breach longer, what do you think? I'm not sure if the plan view matches up with the side view.
