does somebody have pictures, drawings or plans of CIC's of carriers or other ships in the command role? I want to design some for my ships, but I have no idea where to start with them. thanks in advance.......

and CIC onboard US cruisers USS sterett, 1960/1970's era

If you look a belknap cruiser draw in shipbucket catalog and at the same time you compare size of this CIC (look between Bridge-Uptakes (ie. funnels)), You can measure the CIC size (1960's size....)

So there all the space goes in a american dd/cl.
The dutch ones are way smaller...

do you have some pictures or drawings to prove that? the lcf's is rather large too, but it's years ago since I last saw it..... I wasn't even interested in an dark room filled with computers back then :D

as I said... a long time ago....I haven't seen the one of the johan de witt yet.... but as my ship designs are dutch-based, do you have some drawings of that CIC??

At the naval historial ship page there a large number of ship plans of the USN ships the "As Fitted Drawing" these show diagrams of CIC etc the Albany CG are great and there is a early layout for the gearing DD824 & 825 which shows how much moden (1950ish !) CIC and electrionic spares encroached on to limited mess spaces
