Perhaps yes, but is also possible that the vessel would use regular OTO Melara as well. |

Even the Exocet launchers look odd on that drawing. I think it was probably drawn by a marketing artist not really up on naval technology. Looks good for the brochure though! |

Yes, it looks good in the brochure but not very realistic. Actually I thought to mount MM38 Exocet, I have somewhere another artistic impression of BH.7 with twin MM38. On the other hand, these missiles on the BH.7 Mk 6 could be MM39, which was the first Exocet with folding boxes, designed in late 1970's but did not enter production. It was the surface variant of submarine launched SM-39. Instead, Aerospatiale built the MM40, with 72 km range (MM39 would had 50 km, same with SM-39). |
