He might want to say that he's sure about the panals in term in ''correct'' not in term of drawing.

Thanks for clarifying that, but I meant the same thing. Absent actual photographs, what would be a more realistic way of extrapolating how it should have looked? Should I just leave it blank red?

Personally I do not draw something that I ignore.
By the way your underwater paneling is too regular and becomes unrealistic.
