So, I've done a few designs for mid-Victorian ironclads (c.1860s) and would appreciate some feedback. I've done drawings of modern ships before, but never anything so complicated as a ship with actual rigging, so I know I've almost certainly messed it up.

Apologies for the cardinal sin of the aliased ship's badge.

Defence-Class Central Battery Ironclad:
Displacement: 5,507 t light; 6,331 t normal; 6,733 t full load
Length: 275ft (w/l); 283ft (o/a)
Beam: 56ft
Draught: 26.5ft (normal)

Armament: x8 9.25-inch, 15-calibre breech-loading rifles in a central battery; x4 7-inch, 15-calibre breech-loading rifles in casemates at the fore and aft ends.

Armour: 6-inch Main Belt narrowing to 5-inches at the ends; 6-inch plate over Battery; 5-inch plate over fore and aft casemates; 0.5-1-inch armoured deck.

Machinery: Simple single-expansion reciprocating steam engine producing 4,800 ihp, driving a single screw.
Max Speed: 14 knots
Range: 1,500nm at 8 knots (904 tons bunker load at full displacement).

Bunker at max displacement = 1,456 tons (100% coal)

I think I've got the hang of how to use the templates, but if I've messed anything up please let me know!

NOTE: The specs for the Defence are off. When I designed her in SpringSharp I was very new to the software and misunderstood how to enter her battery into the programme. Thus, her main battery is set as on-deck when it should be below-deck, and her freeboard is lower than in the image as a result. That's why I haven't copied her stats so exactly from her SpringSharp report as I have with the other two ships - I'm not convinced her figures are reliable.
