the phalanx and gun should not be drawn by you, but should be copied from the parts sheets. also, the railing is wrong, and something seems to look not quite right...

@ thiel:
I don't think an automated hitrole mount should be on the bridge of that ship.

I know, it was more of a general remark

Btw, does the Perry need a redraw?

I have drawn entirely new mk-75's a few months ago, and the phalanxes have a new version as well. also, shipbucket is about commonality of parts,so they can be recognised easily. and your version doesn't look like the real ship. I personally don't think the perry is an good looking ship, so if your's looks better, you're doing something wrong :D

Commonality is key. This is why we have parts sheets. For the record - I don't agree that yours looks better.

And Please for sanity's sake, swap out that Mk-13 with the one on the USN parts sheet.

wait. all done? you mean it is finished? you have nothing done with all of our comments. this ship is nothing like the real thing, has all the wrong parts, and has not been shaded at all. also, it is missing parts as the lifeboats and the helicopter.

simply said, you better start over, or draw something that isn't drawn yet... and do it good this time. that's my advice. the key to succes on shipbucket is listening to other, more experienced members.

first, try looking at profile pictures of perrys before giving comments about lifeboats. and a heli was never on my to-do list.
second all parts r correct i drew the boat from a blueprint of the ship, and maybe 12-14 photos from diffrent angles. so im sure everything is correct.
third, i do these drawings for my plesure, its called "hobby". i could care less if it dosnt fit shipbucket standards.
and last, u should stop giving crappy comments about how everything looks like crap and start giving comments about were i can do better. thats the key to succes.

well then. you want the wrong points? I have said a lot of them before:
- wrong railings.
- wrong 76 mm gun drawing
- wrong phalanx drawing
- wrong missile director drawing
- there is no 'edge' in the hull underneath the mast
- the anchor is wrong
- missing mooring gear
- wrong torpedo tube drawing
- mast is not drawn according to shipbucket standards
- hull shape looks incorrect, but I don't know enough about these ships to be sure of that
- about the boat you were right, that one is on the other side.... it's crane is higher then the structure though, and should be visible at this side.
- ladders should be drawn with 2 pixels between the steps, not one.
- doors are too large, and should not reach entirely to the deck.
- shading is missing

btw, please understand that it was not my intention to say you are very bad. but still, you are a newbe here, and I (and others even more then I) have quite some experience, and there are certain things that you should do if working in shipbucket style. I had to learn those when I joined, but I can not learn you things if you don't change things we are telling you.

Then you are not drawing up to standard. Part of Shipbucket is standardized parts, which you've ignored. You also have used double-black lines which is verboten in Shipbucket standards

I'm not. Often in drawings sub-assemblies are not drawn to the same quality as the rest of the drawing because they are drawn to precise standards needed on their own drawing.

Ace has been helpful, and has given constructive comments.

Spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization are good things too. Please try and use them. Heck, using 'u' for 'you' smacks of laziness, and youth.
