Sure, it's your drawing.

Cool. Just wondered if there were rules on it :)
I'll do that in a bit then post a final version.
I'm currently working on doing the frigate to the same time period... It's taking some work :D

On thing the ship needs is a hull shading.

It's minor but will really improve the drawing.

Much better. I might extend the shading just a bit further up the bow, right up to the kink.

Even though the drawing is quite up to the Shipbucket style (still missing hull shadowing , railings, etc') the design is wrong, as it is using parts from different eras. Main search radar (I believe Type 960) was in use by the RN in the 1950's and was slowly being phased out by the early 1960's. The main gun, an Oto-Melara compact is from the late 1960's at the earliest, and IIRC was first used in 1972 o r later. The Seact still need a director, and if not mistaken the Wasp helicopter is the old version. I believe the ship will do with Type 993 as main search radar (if your using British systems, that is), Type 978 as navigation radar and maybe use the Type 912 as a director (this can be found on the Type 21 frigates drawing, or Hood's parts sheet).

I've got railings... but anyway:
On the previous page I was told I could get the gun in '64.
It's not a British ship, it's AU, so using a slightly old radar wouldn't be that bad. This was designed for mid '60's, so something being phased out then is perfect.
The type 1006 is certainly okay for the time. And the pair of them give me air and surface search.
Sea cat has it's integral director.
The wasp is the new one. It used to be the older one.
