So, apologies for my earlier error in misusing a dutch LCA design (an honest one- I seriously thought the designs were the same). Herewith attached is an attempt to capture the essence of the RN LCA, with camo as delivered in the war. I've not tried to put on hull numbers, but have included the engineers tower that features on some later examples.

At this size I found it very difficult to represt the small tunnel mounted props, and any fittings get only the most cursory representation. Feedback welcome, and also some pointers for davits please! This is my first 'real world' design, and I quite fancy following it up with some LSIs to hang it off (research time!)

your drawing is lacking some details, and have you used the length of 12.5m? it looks bigger, but I might be wrong on that.
some nice pictures for the detailing can be found here:

Hi, thanks, I think I have the length about right- it's just over 40 foot long, so I aimed for 80 pixels, though whether that includes the rudder guards or not I don't know. I'll continue to tinker.

The te til doesn't fit the template, but I think it will if you use the proper font and text. (Ariel 10 for class etc. ariel 7 for credits. Remember to turn clear-type/anti aliasing off)

Really? I went by instructions on this one:
http://www.shipbucket.com/images.php?di ... 0S%202.png
14 point for title, 10 for credits.

Be that as it may, but you're obviously not using the same size as is used on the template.

hmm, ok, this was using the size as specified and the text editor in paint. I'll go back and resize. Sorry about that - perhaps different editors sized text differently?

The text is a bit low. The upper edge should be in line with the upper edge of the scale bar.
Oh and there's some leftover red pixels in the lower right corner.
