Way back when my family got an Apple IIc, my friend and I had an entire fleet at the amazing, what was it, 2px per inch, or something. So when I stumbled across this site, I figured I'd give it a try. I decided to start off by modifying some designs just to get the hang of it. I used one of Lazer_one's Zara cruisers, changed out the weapons, and used some little bits from Coliseum's Alaska. I'm hoping to do more in the future, if work and grad school allow. I'm working on an India based AU, possibly.

Wow not bad at all! If this is your first try I can't wait to see the rest!

For a first posting this is very impressive. One of the better kitbashing I've seen here. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

BTW. No brackets on the titles, and if you've taken just parts no need to credit, unless we can still see the original you worked from.

Impressive indeed.

There are a few faults, which are inherent in kitbashing.
The after main rangefinder between the Mk37 and the funnel has no room to turn at all and poor field of vision. Ditch it. The forward one is ok-ish but probably needs more room too.
The platform on the rear tripod is too close to the funnel...too hot and smoky.
The foremast looks a little bare, it needs some work I think (no need to go crazy with details). You need some radio aerials between the masts (no whip aerials!) and bridge wings on the forward superstructure
Ditch the 20mm in the eyes of the bows.

Overall though its a well though out kitbash that isn't too wild nor too basic. I look forward to seeing more.
