Here is an update on the SSB Yamato. The hull is taller. The bridge tower is taller and somewhat reshaped. I put back the aft snall turret and removed the two smaller fins sticking out of the superstructure. I added extra details to the superstructure and hull. The ship has been recolored with a more dark grey-bluish color and dark red.

If I were to make her in SB scale, as I have. With some Japanese sources`s lower estimate on size based on the hangar and hangar capacity. Your length as well, I will end up with this:

This is one bit of Sci-Fi I never really got into...And, given that space battles are fought in 3 dimensions, I wonder about having all your weapons mounted topside...

That is actually a severe handicap. It won`t really be a problem, cause` most ships would be destroyed at long range. Fighters would be engaged by Yamato`s fighters.
