Alright, for post-American-Turkey-Day malaise, I give you but a taste of the 'Little Black Rifle.'
Teaser for a full table of every Colt AR-15 model form 1957 Inception to the 2000s.

Full credit both to San-Silvavian, whose work I ̶s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶ expanded on,
and Glorfindel who's idea I ̶s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶ borrowed.

"This is the Armalite AR-10, the Modern Combat Rifle! A lightweight, rugged, and versatile weapon, that combines the accuracy of a sniping rifle with the firepower of a machine gun.
Designed and manufactured by the Armalite division of the Fairchild engine and airplane corporation, the AR-10 is being heralded as the most important achievement in small arms development in the past 80 years!"

(The only visible difference between the Guatemalan and Sudanese guns is the perforated barrel shroud on the former and the brass stock disk on the latter)
The rifle that died, so that the M-16 could live on.

This time all the credit goes to Dalamace.
