history:
with Zipangs independence from the British Empire in 1802, to the newly formed government realised that that it would need to arm its newly formed military, as a result a deal was struck between the British government and Zipang for the procurement of Baker rifles in 1804, however starting in 1809 licensed production of the weapon began at the newly constructed Fujimoto armoury, with production of the rifles ending in in 1822.

Type 1907 self loading pistol

the type 1907 semi-automatic pistol was Zipang’s first domestically produced semi-automatic pistol design, the pistol was officially adopted into the military in 1907 after trials and production of this firearm would last from 1906 to 1922 with a total of 20,000 produced. the type 1907 would see limited success in the overseas market, even though the pistol would not see any foreign military adoption, it did prove to be quite a popular pistol in the civilian market particularly in Asia and the United States.

Type 1910 self loading pistol

the type 1910 semi-automatic pistol was meant to be a replacement to the type 1907 semi-automatic pistol, however the type 1910 proved to be a very unreliable pistol at first, with the design of it's magazine causing the pistol to jam frequently, as a result only the navy adopted this pistol, and even then only in small numbers, even though the pistol flaws would be remedied in the A2 and A3 models, the negativity surrounding its initial model meant that it never saw widespread adoption or production, with a grand total of only 1,500 Pistols produced between 1910 and 1918, however the Pistols would go on to be used by the Heguri Metropolitan Police Department starting in the late 1930s, with many of the pistol still being in police service well into the 1950s.

Nice drawings, indeed looking like some pistols of era (which had lots of 'strange' looking designs). :)
